Foggy, rainy England? During my 2007 summer in Europe I spent a total of two weeks there and only had one day of each – my first day in London (rainy) and my trip to the coast while I was staying in York (foggy). The first was pretty miserable (jet leg might have contributed to that) but the second was just amusing. An English Castle & Roman Baths

There’s nothing like having to wake up early while on vacation just to add more money to the parking meter. 😐 But, that’s what I did on this morning in Bath, England during my 2007 summer in Europe. At least it got me up and at ‘em! My travel buddy, Teresa, and I had arrived in Bath the evening before. After checking out of our hostel, we headed toward the Roman Baths. The baths are quite incredible! So much of the original buildings remain that were built by the Romans 2,000 years ago. Now if you don’t know the origin of those words, you need to stop right now and go watch the movie The Sound of Music. Just make sure you have three hours of free time – it’s a long one! As part of my 2007 summer in Europe with my friend Teresa, I spent four days enjoying and falling in love with the city of Salzburg, Austria. Salzburg is a small city packed with steep, narrow, winding streets that beg you to get lost in them. I visited Scotland during my summer traveling through Europe with my best friend, Teresa. I had had a desire to travel here for quite some time and wish I had been able to spend more time exploring this interesting place. I am determined to return here someday to visit other towns, the highlands and islands, and be the one to provide photographic proof that the Loch Ness Monster does indeed exist. Viva Vancouver! (Part I)

Although my father’s family hails from Canada, growing up I never had a great desire to visit. After all, we share the same continent and language – couldn’t be very exciting, right? Oh boy, was I wrong! Since spending some time in Vancouver last year, I am ready to move there! That’s how much I fell in love with this city! The only thing I regret about visiting was not staying longer!! There is so much to see and do there and I really only scratched the surface!
